The Face Of My Suffering Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFCG HIJK LLLL MLNL CLLL OP

I venture into things beyond timeA
And sought for things that bear much respectB
For their beauty that had blinded meC
And taken my joy and peace awayD
-
Yes For fear that I'm aloneE
I chose to suffer and toilF
To redeem my hidden gloryC
To show I'm capable of great deedsG
-
Look at the face of my sufferingH
I toil till I sweat and till till I bleedI
That the pains of my hard work may be revealedJ
And depths of my venture solely feltK
-
My venter revolt in agony and violenceL
As I drown in the misery of my fastingsL
And through prayers my voice I raise to the heavensL
That my cries may be soothe with good resultsL
-
My lips are no stranger to sweatM
Nor my tongue a foreigner to tearsL
I patiently wait in good tears and faithN
On Him that never failsL
-
In due time he smiled upon meC
His countenance that kissed my faceL
My works He blessed with proceedsL
That men of goodwill may see it and rejoiceL
-
Indeed I have suffered and toiledO
But truly no hard work is a wasteP
