Sonnet Of The Sweet Complaint Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJI KIL

Never let me lose the marvelA
of your statue like eyes or the accentB
the solitary rose of your breathC
places on my cheek at nightD
-
I am afraid of being on this shoreE
a branchless trunk and what I most regretF
is having no flower pulp or clayG
for the worm of my despairH
-
If you are my hidden treasureI
if you are my cross my dampened painJ
if I am a dog and you alone my masterI
-
never let me lose what I have gainedK
and adorn the branches of your riverI
with leaves of my estranged AutumnL
