On All Souls' Eve Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDDEB FGHGEEIG DJKJLEMJ GNENOON

Oh the garden ways are lonelyA
Winds that bluster winds that shoutB
Battle with the strong laburnumC
Toss the sad brown leaves aboutB
In the gay herbaceous borderD
Now a scene of wild disorderD
The last dear hollyhock has flamed hisE
crimson glory outB
-
Yet upon this night of longingF
Souls are all abroad they sayG
Will they come the dazzling blossomsH
That were here but yesterdayG
Will the ghosts of radiant rosesE
And my sheltered lily closesE
Hold once more their shattered fragranceI
now November's on her wayG
-
Wallflowers surely you'll rememberD
Pinks recall it will you notJ
How I loved and watched and tendedK
Made this ground a hallowed spotJ
Pansies with the soft meek facesL
Harebells with a thousand gracesE
Dear dead loves I wait and listen TellM
me have you quite forgotJ
-
HUSH THEY COME For down the pathwayG
Steals a fragrance honey sweetN
Larkspurs lilies stocks and rosesE
Hasten now my heart to greetN
Stay oh stay My hands would hold youO
But the arms that would enfold youO
Crush the bush of lad's love growing in the dusk beside my feetN
