Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDEFGGH CCIIJJCCKK

The Fairies must have come I saidA
For through the moist leaves brown and deadA
The Primroses are pushing upB
And here's a scarlet Fairy cupB
They must have come because I seeC
A single Wood AnemoneD
The flower that everybody knowsE
The Fairies use to scent their clothesF
And hark The South Wind blowing fillsG
The trumpets of the DaffodilsG
They MUST have comeH
-
Then loud to meC
Sang from a budding cherry treeC
A cheerful Thrush I say I sayI
The Fairy Folk are on their wayI
Look out Look out Beneath your feetJ
Are all their treasures Sweet Sweet SweetJ
They could not carry them you seeC
Those caskets crammed with witcheryC
So ready for the first Spring danceK
They sent their Luggage in AdvanceK
