October Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDBEB FGHGIGJG KLMLJGNG OPQPRSTS

I would not ask thee back fair MayA
With all your bright eyed flowersB
Nor would I welcome April daysC
With all their laughing showersB
For each bright season of the yearD
Can claim its own sweet pleasuresB
And we must take them as they comeE
These gladly given treasuresB
-
There's music in the rain that fallsF
In bright October weatherG
And we must learn to love them bothH
The sun and rain togetherG
A mist is 'round the mountain topsI
Of gold encircled splendorG
A dreamy spell is in the airJ
Of beauty sad and tenderG
-
The winter hath not wooed her yetK
This fair October maidenL
And she is free to wander stillM
With fruits and flowers ladenL
She shakes the dew drops from her hairJ
In one swift golden showerG
And all the woods are filled with lightN
That gilds each autumn flowerG
-
But soon the frost king's icy breathO
Will chill her laughing beautyP
And she will waken in the duskQ
Unto a sterner dutyP
Ah life is full of days like theseR
Of days too bright to perishS
Yet death like winter claims too oftT
The things we most would cherishS
