May Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHCH GBIB JKLK

The world is full of gems to dayA
The world is full of loveB
The earth is strewn with star gemmed flowersC
That fall from skies aboveB
-
The sunshine is a stream of goldD
That flows from flower to flowerE
The shadows are but passing thoughtsF
That mark each shining hourE
-
The pansy nods her purple headG
And sings a silent songH
Her life is full of sunny hoursC
The days are never longH
-
The rose uplifts her sun crowned headG
She is the queen of loveB
Her eyes behold the hidden starsI
That glow in skies aboveB
-
There is a fragrance in the airJ
A glory in the skyK
Oh who would sigh for other daysL
Or grieve for things gone byK
