Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DBCB EFFF GHIH JKCK LMNM OPQP JKCK

Let all the flowers wake to lifeA
Let all the songsters singB
Let everything that lives on earthC
Become a joyous thingB
-
Wake up thou pansy purple eyedD
And greet the dewy springB
Swell out ye buds and o'er the earthC
Thy sweetest fragrance flingB
-
Why dost thou sleep sweet violetE
The earth has need of theeF
Wake up and catch the melodyF
That sounds from sea to seaF
-
Ye stars that dwell in noonday skiesG
Shine on though all unseenH
The great White Throne lies just beyondI
The stars are all betweenH
-
Ring out ye bells sweet Easter bellsJ
And ring the glory inK
Ring out the sorrow born of earthC
Ring out the stains of sinK
-
O banners wide that sweep the skyL
Unfurl ye to the sunM
And gently wave about the gravesN
Of those whose lives are doneM
-
Let peace be in the hearts that mournO
Let Rest be in the graveP
The Hand that swept these lives awayQ
Hath power alone to saveP
-
Ring out ye bells sweet Easter bellsJ
And ring the glory inK
Ring out the sorrow born of earthC
Ring out the stains of sinK
