I Know The Story! Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG HIFFFJFK LLFMFFN OFPKQRSTUVWXMYZA2

There are sounds we hearA
From distant lands in cold nightsB
in daylights and in our motherlandC
of cracks bullets and raging rafflesD
of trembling feet consumed by the fearE
yet daring to draw their swordsF
while we cross our arms in comfortG
-
There are stories of menH
whose bravery knows no boundI
who dared death with cloned armorsF
who did not die but offered their soulsF
who defile nature for a true courseF
while our eyes are shut in sleepJ
the widen their eyes to traceF
the footprints of insecurityK
-
I know stories of giants fallen likeL
roothless Irokos in sambisa alikeL
I know of vibrant heart beatsF
reduced to weak pulse and to nothingM
but with the song of allegiance on their lipsF
I know of screams anguish of grindingsF
of pains of the family they left behindN
-
I don t know the color of this griefO
but my heart aches in silent achesF
for a country who stabs its own at the backP
even now I am yet to dymistify this mysteryK
I speak not of wit but of a bleeding heartQ
I pray for a country that offers its own in theR
alter of propaganda and political thirstS
as sacrifice with a dark heart dressed in wide grinT
yet reach out a hand to the drunken thirsty beastU
parting it backs and taking it homeV
I don t know what smell truth wearW
but the radiant glow of a HERO can't be hiddenX
So I celebrate our heroes fallen and those standingM
I pray that wisdom find its comfort with youY
I pray the holy one shield you from this wildZ
burning fire that consumes your brotherhoodA2

Poet's note: I wrote this to celebrate the Arm Forces Remembrance day, a day set aside to remember all those that have lost their lives in the field of fighting insecurity, I wrote to express the anguish their families go through and express the Injustice in just granting armnesty almost all the time when terrorist are caught, even treating them to the Countries of their choice, while the families and the victims are almost never remembered. Finally I wrote this to celebrate this brave men and their acts of bravery.
