Jadis Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACBABABAC

Erewhile before the world was oldA
When violets grew and celandineB
In Cupid's train we were enrolledA
ErewhileC
Your little hands were clasped in mineB
Your head all ruddy and sun goldA
Lay on my breast which was your shrineB
And all the tale of love was toldA
Ah God that sweet things should declineB
And fires fade out which were not coldA
ErewhileC
