April Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF ABAB

We have walked in Love's land a little wayA
We have learnt his lesson a little whileB
And shall we not part at the end of dayA
With a sigh a smileB
-
A little while in the shine of the sunC
We were twined together joined lips forgotD
How the shadows fall when day is doneC
And when Love is notD
-
We have made no vows there will none be brokeE
Our love was free as the wind on the hillF
There was no word said we need wish unspokeE
We have wrought no illF
-
So shall we not part at the end of dayA
Who have loved and lingered a little whileB
Join lips for the last time go our wayA
With a sigh a smileB
