Rondeau Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBACCBDCEBBCD

Ah Manon say why is it weA
Are one and all so fain of theeA
Thy rich red beauty debonnaireB
In very truth is not more fairB
Than the shy grace and purityA
That clothe the maiden maidenlyC
Her gray eyes shine more tenderlyC
And not less bright than thine her hairB
Ah Manon sayD
Expound I pray the mysteryC
Why wine stained lip and languid eyeE
And most unsaintly Maenad airB
Should move us more than all the rareB
White roses of virginityC
Ah Manon sayD
