Amor Umbratilis Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FGFG HFHF AIAI

A gift of Silence sweetA
Who may not ever hearB
To lay down at your unobservant feetA
Is all the gift I bearC
-
I have no songs to singD
That you should heed or knowE
I have no lilies in full hands to flingD
Across the path you goE
-
I cast my flowers awayF
Blossoms unmeet for youG
The garland I have gathered in my dayF
My rosemary and rueG
-
I watch you pass and passH
Serene and cold I layF
My lips upon your trodden daisied grassH
And turn my life awayF
-
Yea for I cast you sweetA
This one gift you shall takeI
Like ointment on your unobservant feetA
My silence for your sakeI
