A Song Of The Setting Sun Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEFF GHGIJE

A song of the setting sunA
The sky in the west is redB
And the day is all but doneA
While yonder up overheadB
All too soonC
There rises so cold the cynic moonC
-
A Song of a Winter dayD
The wind of the north doth blowE
From a sky that's chill and grayD
On fields where no crops now growE
Fields long shornF
Of bearded barley and golden cornF
-
A song of a faded flowerG
'Twas plucked in the tender budH
And fair and fresh for an hourG
In a Lady's hair it stoodI
Now ah nowJ
Faded it lies in the dust and lowE
