A Requiem Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCBA DECCED FGHHGI AJCCJA

Neobule being tiredA
Far too tired to laugh or weepB
From the hours rosy and grayC
Hid her golden face awayC
Neobule fain of sleepB
Slept at last as she desiredA
-
Neobule is it wellD
That you haunt the hollow landsE
Where the poor dead people strayC
Ghostly pitiful and grayC
Plucking with their spectral handsE
Scentless blooms of asphodelD
-
Neobule tired to deathF
Of the flowers that I threwG
On her flower like fair feetH
Sighed for blossoms not so sweetH
Lunar roses pale and blueG
Lilies of the world beneathI
-
Neobule ah too tiredA
Of the dreams and days aboveJ
Where the poor dead people strayC
Ghostly pitiful and grayC
Out of life and out of loveJ
Sleeps the sleep which she desiredA
