The Poet Fears Failure Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

The poet fears failureA
so she saysB
Hold on penC
what if the criticsD
hate meE
with that questionF
she blots out more linesG
than any critic couldH
The critic is only doing his jobI
keeping the poet lonelyE
He barksJ
like a dog at the doorK
when the master comes homeL
It's in his doggy natureA
If he didn't know the poetM
for the bossN
he wouldn't bark so loudO
the poetM
It's in her natureA
to fear failureA
but not to let that fearP
blot outQ
her linesG
