| No doubt to punish it for all its faults | K |

| He melts them down then counterfeits his own | M |
| A kind of literary alchemy | N |

| He's fortunate to have a perfect muse | O |
| A live in muse who cooks inspiringly | P |
| And sometimes after an ambrosial meal | P |
| He'll grab his pen composing feverishly | P |

| A perfect poem describing in detail | P |
| The salad wine the roast in buttery baste | F |
| And reading it his musing wife agrees | L |
| That every line smacks of his perfect taste | F |
