Sunjuice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFAG BBHIJKL MNONPNQ

What happens when the juice of the sunA
drenches youB
with its lemony tang its tart sweetnessC
your whole body stings with singingD
so that your toes sing to your mouthE
your navel whistles to your breastsF
your breasts wave to everyoneA
as you walk down the summer streetG
-
What will you doB
when nothing will doB
but to throw your arms around treesH
menI
greet every woman as sisterJ
to run naked in the spray of the fire hydrantsK
with children of assorted colorsL
-
Will you cover your drenched skinM
with woolen clothesN
Will you wear a diaper of herringbone tweedO
Will you piece together a shroud of figleavesN
lecture at the UniversityP
on the Lives of the Major PoetsN
the History of Despair in ArtQ
