Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKL MNNO GPQN NNRS RTUN

a frozen memory like any photoA
where nothing is missing not evenB
and especially nothingnessC
Julio Cort zar Blow UpD
-
Mirror madE
he photographed reflectionsF
sunstorms in puddlesG
cities in canalsH
-
double portraits framedI
in sunglassesJ
the fat phantoms who danceK
on the flanks of carsL
-
Nothing caught his eyeM
unless it bentN
or glisteredN
over something elseO
-
He trapped clouds in bottlesG
the way kidsP
trap grasshoppersQ
Then one misty dayN
-
he was stoppedN
by the windshieldN
Behind himR
an avenue of treesS
-
before himR
the mirror of that sceneT
He seemed to enterU
what in fact he leftN
