My deathC
looks exactly like meD
She lives to my leftE
at exactly an arm's lengthF
She has my face hair handsG
she agesH
as I grow olderI
-
Sometimes at nightJ
my death awakens meD
or else appears in dreamsK
I did not writeJ
Sometimes a sudden windL
blows from nowhereM
I look leftE
see my deathC
-
Alive I writeJ
with my right hand onlyD
When I am deadN
I shall write with my leftE
-
But later I will have to writeJ
through othersO
I may appearP
to future poetsQ
as their deathsR
