Living Happily Ever After Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEF GHIJIKJBLBBA MBNOPQB BLOBO RSBBB

We used to strike sparksA
off each otherB
Our eyes would meetC
or our handsD
the blue lightning of loveE
would sear the airF
-
Now we are softG
We lollH
in the same sleepy bedI
skin of my skinJ
hair of my headI
sweat of my sweatK
you are kinJ
brother motherB
all in oneL
husband lover muse comforterB
I love you even betterB
without sparksA
-
We are pebbles in the tideM
rolling against each otherB
The surf crashes above usN
the irregular pulseO
of the ocean drives our bloodP
but we are growing smoothQ
against each otherB
-
Are we living happily ever afterB
What will happenL
to my love of cataclysmsO
My love of sparks fireB
my love of iceO
-
Fellow pebbleR
let us rollS
against each otherB
Perhaps the sparks are clearerB
under waterB
