After Two Days Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBAABCDCDCD

Another night has turned itself to dayA
Another day has melted into eveB
And lo again I tread the measured wayA
Of word and thought the twain to interweaveB
As flowers absorb the rays that they receiveB
And all along the woodland where I strayA
I think of thee and Nature keeps me gayA
And sorrow soothes the soul it would bereaveB
Nor will I fear that thou so far apartC
So dear to me so fair and so benignD
Wilt un desire the fealty of a heartC
Which evermore is pledg'd to thee and thineD
And turns to thee in regions where thou artC
To hymn the praises of thy face divineD
