Outsings the valley pigeon's lays | G |
Her wings are gemmed and from her throat | H |
When the clear sun gleams back again | I |
It seems to me as though she wore | J |
About her neck a jewelled chain | K |
Say wilt thou darken such a light | L |
Wilt drag the clouds from heaven's height | L |
Although thy heart with anger swell | M |
Yet firm as marble mine doth dwell | M |
Therein no fear thy wrath begets | N |
It is not shaken by thy threats | N |
Yea hurl thy darts thy weapons wield | O |

And out of months the years arise | S |
Wilt thou be master of the wise | S |
Then learn the hidden stream to know | R |
That from the inmost heart doth flow | R |
