The New Ezekiel Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFGFHIJI

What can these dead bones live whose sap is driedA
By twenty scorching centuries of wrongB
Is this the House of Israel whose prideA
Is as a tale that's told an ancient songB
Are these ignoble relics all that liveC
Of psalmist priest and prophet Can the breathD
Of very heaven bid these Bones reviveC
Open the graves and clothe the ribs of deathD
-
Yea Prophesy the Lord hath said AgainE
Say to the wind Come forth and breathe afreshF
Even that they may live upon these slainG
And bone to bone shall leap and flesh to fleshF
The Spirit is not dead proclaim the wordH
Where lay dead bones a host of armed men standI
I ope your graves my people saith the LordJ
And I shall place you living in your landI
