Symphonic Studies: V Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDCEFFGBB

Upon the silver beach the undines danceA
With interlinking arms and flying hairB
Like polished marble gleam their limbs left bareB
Upon their virgin rites pale moonbeams glanceA
Softer the music for their foam bright feetC
Print not the moist floor where they trip their roundD
Affrighted they will scatter at a soundD
Leap in their cool sea chambers nimbly fleetC
And we shall doubt that we have ever seenE
While our sane eyes behold stray wreaths of mistF
Shot with faint colors by the moon rays kissedF
Floating snow soft snow white where these had beenG
Already look the wave washed sands are bareB
And mocking laughter ripples through the airB
