Sonnet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCADDAAEAFEGG

STILL northward is the central mount of MaineA
From whose high crown the rugged forests seemB
Like shaven lawns and lakes with frequent gleamB
'Like broken mirrors ' flash back light againC
Eastward the sea with its majestic plainA
Endless of radiant restless blue superbD
With might and music whether storms perturbD
Its reckless waves or halcyon winds that reignA
Make it serene as wisdom Storied SpainA
Is the next coast and yet we may not sighE
For lands beyond the inexorable mainA
Our noble scenes have yet no historyF
All subtler charms than those that feed the eyeE
Our lives must give them 'tis an aim austereG
But opes new vistas and a pathway clearG
