Marriage Bells Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFGFHH

Music and silver chimes and sunlit airA
Freighted with the scent of honeyed orange flowerB
Glad friendly festal faces everywhereA
She rapt from all in this unearthly hourB
With cloudlike cast back veil and faint flushed cheekC
In bridal beauty moves as in a tranceD
Alone with him and fears to breathe to speakC
Lest the rare subtle spell dissolve perchanceD
But he upon that floral head looks downE
Noting the misty eyes the grave sweet browF
Doubts if her bliss be perfect as his ownG
And dedicates anew with inward vowF
His soul unto her service to repayH
Richly the sacrifice she yields this dayH
