Life And Art Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBABCCDEFEFGG

Not while the fever of the blood is strongA
The heart throbs loud the eyes are veiled no lessB
With passion than with tears the Muse shall blessB
The poet soul to help and soothe with songA
Not then she bids his trembling lips expressB
The aching gladness the voluptuous painC
Life is his poem then flesh sense and brainC
One full stringed lyre attuned to happinessD
But when the dream is done the pulses failE
The day's illusion with the day's sun setF
He lonely in the twilight sees the paleE
Divine Consoler featured like RegretF
Enter and clasp his hand and kiss his browG
Then his lips ope to sing as mine do nowG
