In Vita: Lxxvi Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDECFE

Sennuccio I would have thee know the shameA
That's dealt to me and what a life is mineB
Even as of yore I struggle burn and pineB
Laura transports me I am still the sameA
All meekness here all pride she there becameA
Now harsh now kind now cruel now benignB
Here honor clothed her there a grace divineB
Now gentle now disdainful of my flameA
Here sweetly did she sing there sat awhileC
There she turned back she lingered in this spotD
Here with her splendid eyes my heart she cloveE
She uttered there a word and here did smileC
Here she changed color Ah in such fond thoughtF
Holds me by day and night our master LoveE
