Fragment. Canzone Xii. 5. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDACCEEFFFGG

I never see after nocturnal rainA
The wandering stars move through the air sereneB
And flame forth 'twixt the dew fall and the rimeC
But I behold her radiant eyes whereinD
My weary spirit findeth rest from painA
As dimmed by her rich veil I saw her the first timeC
The very heaven beamed with the light sublimeC
Of their celestial beauty dewy wetE
Still do they shine and I am burning yetE
Now if the rising sun I seeF
I feel the light that hath enamored meF
Or if he sets I follow him when heF
Bears elsewhere his eternal lightG
Leaving behind the shadowy waves of nightG
