The Lady To Her Guitar Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FBGB HIHI

For him who struck thy foreign stringA
I ween this heart has ceased to careB
Then why dost thou such feelings bringA
To my sad spirit old GuitarC
-
It is as if the warm sunlightD
In some deep glen should lingering stayE
When clouds of storm or shades of nightD
Have wrapt the parent orb awayE
-
It is as if the glassy brookF
Should image still its willows fairB
Though years ago the woodman's strokeG
Laid low in dust their Dryad hairB
-
Even so Guitar thy magic toneH
Hath moved the tear and waked the sighI
Hath bid the ancient torrent moanH
Although its very source is dryI
