The Grass. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKH LJMJ NOAO

The grass so little has to doA
A sphere of simple greenB
With only butterflies to broodC
And bees to entertainD
-
And stir all day to pretty tunesE
The breezes fetch alongF
And hold the sunshine in its lapG
And bow to everythingH
-
And thread the dews all night like pearlsI
And make itself so fineJ
A duchess were too commonK
For such a noticingH
-
And even when it dies to passL
In odors so divineJ
As lowly spices gone to sleepM
Or amulets of pineJ
-
And then to dwell in sovereign barnsN
And dream the days awayO
The grass so little has to doA
I wish I were the hayO
