In The Garden. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGF HIJK LMNO PQRS

A bird came down the walkA
He did not know I sawB
He bit an angle worm in halvesC
And ate the fellow rawD
-
And then he drank a dewE
From a convenient grassF
And then hopped sidewise to the wallG
To let a beetle passF
-
He glanced with rapid eyesH
That hurried all abroadI
They looked like frightened beads I thoughtJ
He stirred his velvet headK
-
Like one in danger cautiousL
I offered him a crumbM
And he unrolled his feathersN
And rowed him softer homeO
-
Than oars divide the oceanP
Too silver for a seamQ
Or butterflies off banks of noonR
Leap plashless as they swimS
