I Have A King Who Does Not Speak; Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCCB DDEFGE HHGGGG

I have a king who does not speakA
So wondering thro' the hours meekA
I trudge the day awayB
Half glad when it is night and sleepC
If haply thro' a dream to peepC
In parlors shut by dayB
-
And if I do when morning comesD
It is as if a hundred drumsD
Did round my pillow rollE
And shouts fill all my childish skyF
And bells keep saying 'victory'G
From steeples in my soulE
-
And if I don't the little BirdH
Within the Orchard is not heardH
And I omit to prayG
'Father thy will be done' to dayG
For my will goes the other wayG
And it were perjuryG
