"have You Got A Brook In Your Little Heart," Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GBHB IJFJ

Have you got a brook in your little heartA
Where bashful flowers blowB
And blushing birds go down to drinkC
And shadows tremble soB
-
And nobody knows so still it flowsD
That any brook is thereE
And yet your little draught of lifeF
Is daily drunken thereE
-
Then look out for the little brook in MarchG
When the rivers overflowB
And the snows come hurrying from the hillsH
And the bridges often goB
-
And later in August it may beI
When the meadows parching lieJ
Beware lest this little brook of lifeF
Some burning noon go dryJ
