Drowning Is Not So Pitiful Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFGHFIF

Drowning is not so pitifulA
As the attempt to riseB
Three times 't is said a sinking manC
Comes up to face the skiesB
And then declines foreverD
To that abhorred abodeE
Where hope and he part companyF
For he is grasped of GodG
The Maker's cordial visageH
However good to seeF
Is shunned we must admit itI
Like an adversityF
