A Tempest Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DAEA FGHI

An awful tempest mashed the airA
The clouds were gaunt and fewB
A black as of a spectre's cloakC
Hid heaven and earth from viewB
-
The creatures chuckled on the roofsD
And whistled in the airA
And shook their fists and gnashed their teethE
And swung their frenzied hairA
-
The morning lit the birds aroseF
The monster's faded eyesG
Turned slowly to his native coastH
And peace was ParadiseI
