Rhyme Scheme: A BCDE FGHI JKLK MNOPA | |
- | |
They called me to the Window for | B |
'Twas Sunset Some one said | C |
I only saw a Sapphire Farm | D |
And just a Single Herd | E |
- | |
Of Opal Cattle feeding far | F |
Upon so vain a Hill | G |
As even while I looked dissolved | H |
Nor Cattle were nor Soil | I |
- | |
But in their stead a Sea displayed | J |
And Ships of such a size | K |
As Crew of Mountains could afford | L |
And Decks to seat the skies | K |
- | |
This too the Showman rubbed away | M |
And when I looked again | N |
Nor Farm nor Opal Herd was there | O |
Nor Mediterranean | P |
