You Never Can Tell Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGF HIJIKLDL MNOPQCRC

You never can tell when you send a wordA
Like an arrow shot from a bowB
By an archer blind be it cruel or kindC
Just where it may chance to goD
It may pierce the breast of your dearest friendE
Tipped with its poison or balmF
To a stranger s heart in life s great martG
It may carry its pain or its calmF
-
You never can tell when you do an actH
Just what the result will beI
But with every deed you are sowing a seedJ
Though the harvest you may not seeI
Each kindly act is an acorn droppedK
In God s productive soilL
You may not know but the tree shall growD
With shelter for those who toilL
-
You never can tell what your thoughts will doM
In bringing you hate or loveN
For thoughts are things and their airy wingsO
Are swifter than carrier dovesP
They follow the law of the universeQ
Each thing must create its kindC
And they speed o er the track to bring you backR
Whatever went out from your mindC
