Worth While Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFG AHIHJKFK LMHMLCFC

It is easy enough to be pleasantA
When life flows by like a songB
But the man worth while is the one who will smileC
When everything goes dead wrongB
For the test of the heart is troubleD
And it always comes with the yearsE
And the smile that is worth the praises of earthF
Is the smile that shines through tearsG
-
It is easy enough to be prudentA
When nothing tempts you to strayH
When without or within no voice of sinI
Is luring your soul awayH
But it's only a negative virtueJ
Until it is tried by fireK
And the life that is worth the honour on earthF
Is the one that resists desireK
-
By the cynic the sad the fallenL
Who had no strength for the strifeM
The world's highway is cumbered to dayH
They make up the sum of lifeM
But the virtue that conquers passionL
And the sorrow that hides in a smileC
It is these that are worth the homage on earthF
For we find them but once in a whileC
