Why I Love Her Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFE EEGG EEHH

Why do I love my sweetheart WellA
I really never tried to tellA
I love her mayhap for her smileB
So innocent and free from guileB
-
Perhaps I love her for her mienC
So calmly cheerful and sereneC
Or it may be her silken hairD
First caught and tangled Cupid thereD
-
And since I came to analyseE
Her chiefest beauty is her eyesE
Her mouth too that is Cupid's bowF
Perhaps that's why I love her soE
-
And now I think of it her voiceE
First made my rusty heart rejoiceE
And then her hand 'tis my beliefG
It quite outvies the lily leafG
-
Perhaps I love her for her waysE
That blend in with the sunny daysE
Tush to be brief and plain with youH
I love her just because I doH
