When Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE BGCGHICI DABAJEDE

I dwell in the western inlandA
Afar from the sounding seaB
But I seem to hear it sobbingC
And calling aloud to meB
And my heart cries out for the oceanD
As a child for its mother's breastE
And I long to lie on its watersF
And be lulled in its arms to restE
-
I can close my eyes and fancyB
That I hear its mighty roarG
And I see its blue waves splashingC
And plunging against the shoreG
And the white foam caps the billowH
And the sea gulls wheel and cryI
And the cool wild wind is blowingC
And the ships go sailing byI
-
Oh wonderful mighty oceanD
When shall I ever standA
Where my heart has gone alreadyB
There on thy gleaming strandA
When shall I ever wanderJ
Away from the inland westE
And strand by thy side dear oceanD
And rock on thy heaving breastE
