What Happens? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EFFE GG

When thy hand touches mine through all the meshA
Of intricate and interlaced veinsB
Shoot swift delights that border on keen painsB
Flesh thrills to thrilling fleshA
-
When in thine eager eyes I look to findC
A comrade to my thought thy ready brainD
Delves down and makes its inmost meaning plainD
Mind answers unto mindC
-
When hands and eyes are hid by seas that rollE
Wide wastes between us still so near thou artF
I count the very pulses of thy heartF
Soul speaketh unto soulE
-
So every law or human or divineG
In heart and brain and spirit makes thee mineG
