Uncontrolled Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

The mighty forces of mysterious spaceA
Are one by one subdued by lordly manB
The awful lightning that for eons ranB
Their devastating and untrammeled raceA
Now bear his messages from place to placeA
Like carrier doves The winds lead on his vanB
The lawless elements no longer canB
Resist his strength but yield with sullen graceA
His bold feet scaling heights before untrodC
Light darkness air and water heat and coldC
He bids go forth and bring him power and pelfD
And yet though ruler king and demi godC
He walks with his fierce passions uncontrolledC
The conquerer of all things save himselfD
