Tired Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBADED FGHIJKDK HLMLNOPO

I am tired to night and somethingA
The wind maybe or the rainB
Or the cry of a bird in the copse outsideC
Has brought back the past and its painB
And I feel as I sit here thinkingA
That the hand of a dead old JuneD
Has reached out hold of my heart s loose stringsE
And is drawing them up in tuneD
-
I am tired to night and I miss youF
And long for you love through tearsG
And it seems but to day that I saw you goH
You who have been gone for yearsI
And I seem to be newly lonelyJ
I who am so much aloneK
And the strings of my heart are well in tuneD
But they have not the same old toneK
-
I am tired and that old sorrowH
Sweeps down the bed of my soulL
As a turbulent river might suddenly breakM
Away from a dam s controlL
It beareth a wreck on its bosomN
A wreck with a snow white sailO
And the hand on my heart strings thrums awayP
But they only respond with a wailO
