Thought-magnets Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

With each strong thought with every earnest longingA
For aught thou deemest needful to thy soulB
Invisible vast forces are set throngingA
Between thee and that goalB
-
Tis only when some hidden weakness altersC
And changes thy desire or makes it lessD
That this mysterious army ever faltersC
Or stops short of successD
-
Thought is a magnet and the longed for pleasureE
Or boon or aim or object is the steelF
And is attainment hangs but on the measureE
Of what thy soul can feelF
