In all lands and eras known | E |
You will find the buried ages | D |
Far more wicked than our own | E |
As you scan each word and letter | F |

That the world to day is better | F |
Than it ever was before | G |

There is much that needs amending | A |
In the present time no doubt | H |
There is right that needs amending | A |
There is wrong needs crushing out | H |
And we hear the groans and curses | I |
Of the poor who starve and die | J |
While the men with swollen purses | I |
In the place of hearts go by | J |

But in spite of all the trouble | K |
That obscures the sun to day | L |
Just remember it was double | K |
In the ages passed away | L |
And those wrongs shall all be righted | M |
Good shall dominate the land | N |
For the darkness now is lighted | O |
By the torch in Science's hand | N |

Forth from little motes in Chaos | P |
We have come to what we are | Q |
And no evil force can stay us | R |
We shall mount from star to star | Q |
We shall break each bond and fetter | F |
That has bound us heretofore | G |
And the earth is surely better | F |
