Should some great angel say to me to morrowA
Thou must re tread thy pathway from the startB
But God will grant in pity for thy sorrowA
Some one dear wish the nearest to thy heartB

This were my wish from my life s dim beginningC
Let be what has been wisdom planned the wholeD
My want my woe my errors and my sinningC
All all were needed lessons for my soulD
