The Peace Angel Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEDFFGH IEJKBKLLM

Angel of Peace the hounds of warA
Unleashed are all abroadB
And war's foul trade again is madeC
Man's leading aim in lifeD
Blood dyes the billow and the sodE
The very winds are rifeD
With tales of slaughter Angel prayF
What can we do or think or sayF
In times like theseG
'Child think of God 'H
-
'Before this little speck in spaceI
Called Earth with light was shodE
Great chains and tiers of splendid spheresJ
Were fashioned by His handK
Be thine the part to love and laudB
Nor seek to understandK
Go lift thine eyes from death charged gunsL
To one who made a billion sunsL
And trust and waitM
Child dwell on God '-
