The Nameless Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BBB CCC DDD EEE

Unnumbered gods may unremembered dieA
A thousand creeds may perish and pass byA
Yet do I lift mine eyes to ONE on highA
-
Unnamed be HE from whom creation cameB
There is no word whereby to speak His nameB
But petty men have mouthed it into shameB
-
I lift mine eyes and with a river's forceC
My love's full tide goes sweeping on its courseC
To that supreme and all embracing SourceC
-
Then back through all those thirsting channels rollD
The mighty billows of the Over SoulD
And I am He the portion and the WholeD
-
As little streams before the flood tide fleeE
As rivers vanish to become the seaE
The I exists no more for I AM HEE
