Through changeless love that led to it | E |

What matters that one found his Christ | G |
In rising sun or burning fire | H |
If faith within him did not tire | H |
His longing for the truth sufficed | G |

Before our 'Christian' hell was brought | I |
To edify a modern world | J |
Full many a hate filled soul was hurled | J |
In lakes of fire by its own thought | I |

A thousand creeds have come and gone | K |
But what is that to you or me | L |
Creeds are but branches of a tree | L |
The root of love lives on and on | M |
